GARRETT & ALAINA’S

COASTAL WEDDING AT REGINA RANCH

If you’ve ever dreamed of getting married with ocean views and classic California coastal vibes, Regina Ranch is it. Perched high above Carpinteria, this spot overlooks the Rincon surf break and stretches all the way down the coast. Photographing Alaina and Garrett’s day up here reminded me exactly why I love being a Carpinteria wedding photographer. The scenery does half the work for you. Every direction you look is beautiful, every frame feels like a painting and Alaina and Garrett’s playful, loving energy made it extraordinary.

The morning started at their charming home in Santa Barbara. A little morning fog and a very relaxed bride made for a peaceful morning of capturing “getting ready”. Alaina and her bridesmaids danced together, exchanged letters and gifts, cried happy tears, windows wide open to the ocean breeze.

Their ceremony took place on the lawn, overlooking the water below. You could see the surf rolling in at Rincon while they said their vows, which included a nod to their shared love of coffee. Guests laughed, cried, and probably took in one of the best views you can find at any Carpinteria wedding venue.

Cocktail hour was on the lawn, with chips and dip greeting guests as an escort table. The whole day was perfectly them but especially ceremony and cocktail hour. The grazing tables were overflowing, the drinks were cold, and the live music drifted through the hills as the sun dropped lower. That soft gold Ojai-to-Carpinteria light filled the whole property, and it just didn’t miss.

Dinner and dancing took place in the barn, a classic setup done right. Lively white florals, and a space that felt warm and full without being overdecorated.

As a Carpinteria wedding photographer, days like this are what I hope for. Beautiful light, a relaxed timeline, and a couple who’s genuinely enjoying every second. Regina Ranch is one of those Carpinteria wedding venues that manages to feel both grand and completely personal at once. It’s open and wild, but it never loses that intimate, hometown feeling.

If you’re planning your own celebration in this area, you’ll want to explore this Regina Ranch wedding gallery. The mix of ocean views, golden hills, and natural charm makes it easy to see why couples fall in love with this place. Carpinteria has a magic to it — and being able to capture that as a wedding photographer never gets old.

Every time I photograph a wedding in Carpinteria, I’m reminded how lucky I am to call this part of California my place of work. From the hilltops of Regina Ranch to the coastline below, it’s a place that feels effortless and real. If you’re planning your own celebration and searching for Carpinteria wedding venues, I hope you enjoyed this Regina Ranch wedding gallery for inspiration. The light, the view, and the people make it easy to see why couples keep coming back. Being a Carpinteria wedding photographer here never gets old.
